Apple calls them the best and most advanced iPhones ever. In many ways, they're exactly that. They've got improved cameras, including a new fusion camera on iPhone 7 Plus. They've got better cellular radios iPhone 7 features LTE Advanced, with speeds up to 450 Mbps for data downloads — over 50 percent faster than iPhone 6s and three times faster than iPhone 6. And thanks to even more LTE bands, you’ll have the best worldwide roaming available in a smartphone. And processors, including a new A10 Fusion. Also, for the first time, they're officially water resistant.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus take away the 3.5mm headphone jack and The Home button is completely reengineered, which some will find inconvenient if not infuriating. What they add, though, are better cameras front to back, with significantly improved low-light performance, and a new 2x optical zoom on the Plus model, with simulated bokeh to come. There's also water resistance, and a much more powerful processor that's also efficient enough that, when combined with a slightly larger battery, can provide for an hour or two of extra battery life a day. The speakers are also louder now, top and bottom, and stereo, and the phones can capture and display P3 wide gamut color.
